The OCA-UPS® Gold Mountain Scholarship, established in 1999, supports first-generation Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) graduating high school seniors and rising college seniors pursuing higher education. Named after the vision of America as a "mountain of golden opportunities" for early Asian immigrants, the scholarship reflects the shared aspirations of students and their families.

Protecting AAPI communities

Our team fights to ensure that AAPIs can fully participate in our democracy, live without fear, and access critical resources.

Developing new leaders

Through internships, youth programs, and scholarships, we work to cultivate and empower the next generation of civil rights advocates.

Building public awareness

OCA National partners with organizations to educate AANHPI communities on policies affecting their lives through educational campaigns.
